French for “bell” (and pronounced ‘CLO-SHH’), a cloche is a bell-shaped glass covering placed over plants to protect them from frostbite and encourage their growth.
We’ve embraced the same idea at Cloche Coffee.
Come step inside our glass space, admire our plants, and recharge with our good energy. We’re here to foster the growth of our Durham community and serve some really fantastic coffee and food along the way.
HAPPY HOUR IS FROM 7AM-7PM
(You know, every hour we’re open?!) That’s because (in case you missed it), we treat our shop like a giant cloche – harnessing good energy and fostering growth to what’s inside.
We think you’ll find that our little coffee shop makes the perfect space for getting work done, catching up with friends, a wholesome snack, and a much-needed recharge.
Located across from Duke’s East Campus (in the ADF building) we also think our location (and PATIO) is the best around, but come judge for yourself and tell us what you think.
Last, but not least, we proudly serve Larry’s Coffee – a company who is making it their mission to provide only organic, ethically sourced, and fair traded coffee. (Did you know that every bean they roast comes from a place where Larry has personally verified the farm offers living wages and healthcare to its workers?) They are a wonderful and sustainable company that’s truly on a mission to change the world. (Check out all their ways, here.)
